Kids
Sunday School
At Wyckoff Reformed Church, we are passionate about partnering with families as they grow in faith together. Our desire is to create a Christ-centered community where children, students, and parents feel known, loved, and encouraged in their walk with Jesus. Through Sunday morning ministries, special events, and discipleship opportunities, we seek to nurture the faith of the next generation at every stage.

Our youngest children may be dropped off in the Education Building (the building closest to the parking lot) in the Blue Room before the worship service begins. They will be checked in by their teachers in the room, but parents should also check in on the iPad as they enter the sanctuary. These children will learn common Bible stories and simple songs to develop a foundation of faith as they are cared for by trained volunteers.

For children ages 4 through Kindergarten. Parents should check in on the iPad as they enter the sanctuary to receive a name label for the child and a tag for guardians that you’ll give to your child’s teacher upon pick up. Children will begin worship with their families and then be walked to their classroom by a teacher after the Family Moment. These children will learn Bible stories and fundamental truths about Jesus Christ and God’s love for us.

For children in first through fourth grade. Children will begin worship with their families and then be walked to their classroom by a teacher after the Family Moment. Parents should check in on the iPad as they enter the sanctuary to receive a name label for the child and a tag for guardians that you’ll give to your child’s teacher upon pick up. These students will learn Biblical truth, practice scripture memorization, and discover how our Christian faith shapes their lives, friends, and future.
-
On the first Sunday of each month, we worship together as a church family. Children in 2nd grade and older remain in the sanctuary for the full service, and those who are ready are invited to receive communion alongside their families.

-

Family Registration
Please register your child for Sunday school so that we can safely serve them.
-

Communion Classes
Students in 2nd grade and older discover the gift of communion and its significance in our faith. After completing this class, students will be invited to the table for communion during our Sunday worship services.
-

Bible Dedications
In the fall and spring, we do a formal Bible dedication for kindergarteners and third graders, respectively, in a worship service.
-

Supper Club
We gather on the third Thursday of every month for a potluck dinner, followed by an adult small group, where parents have time to talk and pray together and children are supervised during play time.
-

Vacation Bible School
Every summer, we offer a VBS camp, a fun environment where kids worship, play, and learn about Jesus!
-

After School Program
On Thursday afternoons, we offer monthly classes (such as baking, LEGOS, and science) that incorporate scripture lessons with hands-on activities.
Volunteers
We are blessed with many faithful volunteers who love and teach our kids, but we’re always looking for more! Do you love kids? Do you want to be part of creating a safe and hospitable space for our littlest ones to come to Jesus? Do you have a passion for raising up the next generation in the Lord? We’d love to add you to the team!
