Lenten 2022 study

The Adult Discipleship Committee invites you to join a five-week Zoom Lenten study, “24 Hours That Changed the World” by Adam Hamilton.

When: Monday nights at 7:00pm through 8:45pm, beginning March 14th and running through April 11th.

Description: No single event in human history has received more attention than the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth. In this Lenten journey, Adam Hamilton guides us through the last twenty-four hours of Jesus' life.

In “24 Hours That Changed the World”, each lesson begins with a short DVD video as Adam Hamilton retraces the last 24 hours of Jesus’ life walking around Jerusalem. From the Last Supper to the Resurrection, the imagery is incredibly powerful and the information he delivers is so vital and helpful for us as we learn who Jesus was and what his last days on earth were like.

Suggested requirement: “24 Hours That Changed the World, Expanded Paperback Edition” by Adam Hamilton. For the study, please make sure to order the book and not the leader’s guide or devotional. Available from ChristianBooks.com, Thriftbooks.com, or Amazon.com. There will be a small number of books available in the church office for a requested small donation of $10.

Format: Each study begins with a 10-12 minute video. Next is discussion session, followed by wrap-up and closing prayer.
