Traditional Worship
SUNDAYS -
The Wyckoff Reformed Church conducts Sunday services year-round. with
Communion service on the first Sunday of every month. We welcome
all
to our community including individuals and families in Christ, those just learning about Him
and especially anyone searching for Him.
From mid-September through mid-June worship services are held at
9:00 am and 11:00 am,
with Sunday school and nursery care at the 9:00 a.m. service. A time of
fellowship is held between services, in Heneveld Hall in the Education
building. Heneveld Hall is handicap accessible.
For those who have difficulty hearing during
the Worship services the ushers have wireless amplification units available.
Large print Bibles are also available.
Family Sunday is the second Sunday of the month. The children
join the Congregation in the Sanctuary for the first part of the worship
service, then go their Sunday school classes.
Emergent Worship
I’d like to invite you to a new worship service called Genesis.
I do this with some hesitation though. I realize that so called “Contemporary” worship services have been popping up everywhere.
Genesis is different
Genesis revolves around being able to worship God authentically. The most authentic worship comes when you sing songs to God that move you. It happens when you hear a teaching that you can apply to every day of your life. Authentic worship only happens when you become part of a community that openly and honestly speaks to each other about their lives.
Genesis is Authentic Worship
Come as you are. Jeans and a T-Shirt? Shirt and Tie? Dress in a way that makes you comfortable enough to worship God with all of your heart, your soul, and your mind.
Come as you are.
Whether you know nothing about God or Christianity, or you’re a theological expert, come as you are. There is something for both of you. When it comes down to it, we want to become an authentic community who learns to live with each other through the good and the bad, and to know that God is with us through all of it.
That is the definition of a church.
Billy Norden, Pastor
EVERY DAY - each morning
a number of our faithful members and friends gather in the Sanctuary at 8:30
a.m. for a time of prayer. Communion is served once a week to those in
these prayer sessions. All are welcome.

Weekly Meditation
and
Lessons
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart
and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
—Proverbs 3:5
Do you find yourself
saying, "God, what are You doing in my life?"
Confusion occurs when we try to figure out what we do not understand.
As believers, we have a unique privilege, which is to remain in peace
even when we do not understand what has happened, what is happening,
or what is going to happen in the future.
We serve the
All-Knowing God Who keeps one eye on us all the time. God is never
surprised; He knows everything before it happens.
Be content to know the One who knows, even if you do not know the
answer yourself.
Grow in trust not questions. Something may be God's will for us,
but our timing may not be His. We must learn to wait on Him.
Learn to lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord. T
Learned to say,
"God, I do not know what You are doing, but I am sure You do. I trust
You."
Trust God and by doing so you will maintain your peace.
