Led by our Director of
Music, Greg Nalesnik, the music program at the Wyckoff Reformed Church is
large and varied, diverse enough to include almost every level of musical
interest and talent. This Congregation loves to sing and has been blessed
with voices and musicians in a ministry of music for both worship and
fellowship. From those playing the carillon before Sunday service to the
bell choirs, to distinguished soloists, and little children the sound of
music is part of our praising God.

Chancel
Choir
Age Group:
Adults
The Chancel
Choir is a mixed ensemble of 25-35 voices bringing hymns of prayer, praise and
thanksgiving to worship and other services and celebrations in the life of the
Church... and sometimes in the greater community. Their music is an
integral part of almost every Sunday’s worship. Led by a quartet of
professional singers the choir performs major works at Advent and Lent, with
works ranging from Renaissance to Revival.
The Quartet - Our Church is fortunate
to provide professional leadership in each of the four voice sections of the
Choir. Throughout the church year members of the Quartet are called upon to
sing solo, or together, as part of the worship services. Members of the Quartet
also take the leads during the presentation of music programs for major holiday
celebrations; Easter, Christmas, Advent, Lent, etc.
There is always room for
church members and friends to join in, making lasting friendships and praise the
Lord through music.

This
mixed ensemble of 12-15 voices sing selections of contemporary Christian music
during worship services once each month. Their selections include gospel or
more modern praise and worship hymns. Often accompanied by a rhythm section,
the Folk Choir simply rocks the pews with love.

The
Joyful Noise Bell Choir
Age Group:Adult
The white
gloved hands of an assemblage of
eleven adult “clappers” move swiftly to ring out the good news. The
original set of three octaves were donated in honor of one of our members,
Estelle Dau. Now the choir is expanding the current array of 37 bells to
add a fourth octave. Joyful Noise hand bells perform at worship services every
4-6 weeks and often accompany the choir in performance.
There are other ringing
opportunities to participate in this unique musical program.
Teen Bell Choir
- anyone from 13 through 12th grade interested in starting a new group is
invited to join in the fun. At least eleven players are needed to form a
choir... so call your friends and then call Bonnie.

The
Master's Men Age Group:Adult and Youth
Psalm 100:2 “Serve the
LORD with gladness; come before His presence with singing.”
The
Master's Men comprise
our only all male chorus, adult men and young men, who thrill audiences within and
out of the Church. The rich deep tones of their voices deliver songs that reach everyone, young and
old alike. The men sing at worship one Sunday, every other month.

Carilloneurs
On Sundays our wonderful
pipe organ sings out as the Congregation gathers for worship. Thanks to a
coterie of volunteer organists an attitude of meditation and family greets all
who are in the Sanctuary. Each volunteer takes a turn in rotation, with their
music setting the tone for the service to follow, and then announcing
commencement of worship with the playing of the steeple bells.
