Teach the Word
In John 14:26, Jesus promised the
disciples
“… the
Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name,
He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance
all things that I said to you.”
So too our Church is given and
meant to access the Holy Spirit so we might teach all those who will
listen. Over its history The Wyckoff Reformed Church has become a primary
source for information and discussion of faith and Christian life in the
world. The Church’s educational programs reach adults and children, both
those in our Congregation and the community at large. Whether through
classes and small groups, formal or casual settings, taught by our pastors,
or noted men and women of faith… we are committed to Teach the Word.

Adult |
When Nathanial asked "Where
did you get to know me?"
Jesus answered, I saw you under the fig tree."
John 1:48
What began as a small seed within our
Congregation has grown into an ecumenical ministry,
providing Adult Christian Education to multiple Congregations and individuals.
Thanks to the foresight of Astrid Zabriskie we grow, gaining greater
understanding of our world in light of the Bible and share experiences with a
variety of Christian faith communities. Those same faith communities fund
today's Fig Orchard so that it is able to bring well known speakers and
educators to serve people from diverse Christian expressions.
For more on
these programs and other The Fig
Orchard seminars and events please go to the
